Meet Carmita
I am passionate about mentoring and training leaders (especially female leaders) and bringing about positive changes from within.
I want to change the way people see their job and business and create a movement of people who wakes up motivated and inspired by their day ahead and head to bed feeling satisfied for who they are and what they do.
Working for 4 decades as an environmental engineer, I got to the conclusion that way to sustainability begins at individual level by means of having a clear vision of what you want in life, connecting with why you do what you do in a meaningful way, setting the values and boundaries that rule your work and life, and serving others through the talents that make you unique.
I believe fully that the greater the clarity of your vision, the easier it is for you to overcome life’s challenges.
Life will always have its ups and downs; however, with clarity, it becomes easier to identify areas you need to strengthen, make the changes and take the actions that will help you achieve your vision.
You can manage your time, energy and resources better, when you know where you’re heading to, either in life or business.
When you more deeply understand your “why” for starting a business or making changes in life, the vision of success becomes clear to you.
This, in turn, makes it easier to anchor the emotions that each step of the journey will make you feel, as well as envision how each step interlocks with that vision.
Why?
I was living the dream. Working in a corporate department in an international oil & gas company, having the nice expat life living in an exotic country and travelling. However, somehow, none of that seemed enough. With my daughter’s marriage I was forced to rethink what being successful means to me. It was then that I realized that it’s not about racing to the finish line and achieving the goal. It’s about learning to live a life of purpose.
A life where you feel your gifts, experience and knowledge are serving a purpose bigger than having a position, earning good money and buying expensive stuff, while feeling a sense of emptiness and dissatisfaction within.
After searching for that and some trial and error experiences, I decided to use the knowledge, expertise and skills gained in 40 years working as an engineer and consultant in project management, management systems and root cause analysis, to help leaders to find out what success means to them and construct their vision for their life and business by setting adequate processes, methods and tools and taking the right actions to create it.
I partner with them to define and create their vision of personal, professional and organizational success.
