Write a Letter to Your Younger Self
1. Block an hour of time when you know you won’t have any interruptions.
2. To warm up, start by playing your favorite music (it can be anything that makes you smile. For me, it’s the song Happy by Pharrell Williams) and dance!
Sing like no one is listening.
Love like you’ve never been hurt.
Dance like nobody’s watching,
and live like it’s heaven on earth.
Do this – this is guaranteed to put a smile on your face which instantly raises your vibration frequency.
3. Next, look at yourself in the mirror and say the following affirmations:
❤ I love you.
❤ I am beautiful.
❤ I believe in my abilities and myself.
❤ I can face this day and its challenges with strength.
❤ I let go of my fears, anxieties, and negative thoughts.
❤ I am filled with hope.
❤ I trust my gut and follow my heart and intuition.
❤ I take ownership of my successes and my failures.
❤ I show compassion to others and myself.
❤ I don’t let others discourage me from my goals.
❤ I have all it takes to be successful and confident.
A mirror isn’t just for checking your appearance. Use it for self-reflection and positive affirmations.
4. Have an attitude of gratitude. Gratitude is not a list of things and people. It’s a way of life. Become aware of all the opportunities you have in front of you and focus your attention on all those things that you have (rather than focusing on the ones that you don’t have). By doing this, you are creating more opportunities and opening space to abundance in your life.
Time to grab your pen and paper and start writing …

Dear Celine,
Wow! You are an adult. Where did the time go? It seems only yesterday you were wearing your favourite giraffe dress and celebrating your 7th birthday. Loved that cake – The Old Woman in the Shoe.

Why it’s important to raise your vibration
How you deal with emotions will determine at what frequency your energy is vibrating.
Can you raise your frequency and protect your energy? Yes you can!
There are many ways to do that. One example is the teachings of Ayurveda – which teaches us to live in harmony with nature, to have a lifestyle that is aligned with our being, which then provides us with many tools to live a happier existence.
The higher the frequency of your energy or vibration, the lighter you feel in your physical, emotional, and mental bodies. You will experience greater personal power, clarity, peace, love, and joy. This is the basis for the law of attraction … more on that soon
10 Ways to raise your vibration
1. Attitude of gratitude – Ask yourself why are you grateful for these things. What makes these things so important to you? What would your life look like without them?
2. Affirmations – Are simply “I am” statements, that allow you to step into a more positive energy; to become clear on all of the amazing qualities you have, and to get a feel for some of the qualities you want to embody.
3. Music – listening to music you love & music that makes you happy is an incredible way to reduce stress and let go; especially if it’s music you can let yourself sing and dance to!
4. Journal – This brain dump or stream of consciousness writing can help you clear your mind; making no judgements about what you’re writing – what you’re holding on to. Then, pick one or two things you wrote and think of ways you can start to tackle these goals (even if it’s just putting time in your calendar to deal with it later).
5. Disconnect – Allow yourself time to disconnect with the online world, and instead reconnect with yourself. To practise self-love, to work on projects you’ve been putting off, to read that book that’s been sitting on your shelf, to try that new thing you’ve been wanting to do, to cook nourishing meals. To focus on the things that bring you joy and happiness and love rather than rushing through life feeling overwhelmed. Try to do this daily – even if only for 10-15 minutes.
6. Tapping – also known as the emotional freedom technique (EFT), is based on the premise that our negative thoughts, feelings, and beliefs are caused by disruptions in our internal energy systems. Try applying pressure on certain points, or meridians in your body, you can restore this energy balance and can relieve the symptoms that the negative belief may have caused (i.e. stress and anxiety).

7. Explore nature – The Earth’s energy is pure. Connect with nature. Walk outside. Breathe fresh air. Feel the sunshine on your skin and the ground beneath your feet (which can also help you with a grounding energy). Let your mind wander and remember to smile!
8. Hydrate – If you’re not drinking enough water your poor body doesn’t have the energy it needs to function properly. Focus on adequate water intake, and your body will begin to feel light and energetic.
9. Declutter – Take time to minimize by getting rid of physical items that no longer serve you. This can really help transform your space energetically.
Be honest with yourself when going through your items: does it serve a purpose? Does it make you happy? If you could go back, would this item be something you would buy? This process doesn’t need to be challenging. Consider setting aside some time to get rid of at least 2 things daily. Remember, do not throw the items out! Try to repurpose, resell, or donate them to avoid unnecessary waste. 🌿

10. LOVE – Just like the famous song by The Beatles, All you need is love!
Love yourself, your partner, your environment, and the people around you. Turn your anger, hate, and other negative emotions into positive ones and share them with everyone you meet. Write your words of love on a water bottle, napkin, journal, and other places where you’ll see them through the day! Make a positive affirmation of love to yourself in front of the mirror every morning. Tell people you love them at every opportunity. As you learn to love, your vibration will increase, and you will be loved in return.
